Seizures

To request seizure/repossession services, your company will be required to send a "fully" completed Repossession Order, via fax or e-mail to our office.

Wolfco will then open a file and instruct one of our bailiffs. Once our bailiff has been given the file, he/she will begin the process of taking possession of your security and once obtained, will deliver back to our yard. At the time of the repossession, our bailiff serves a Notice of Intention to Sell on the debtor and any other persons having an interest in the security. If the Notice(s) cannot be served, they will be sent by registered mail, unless you prefer to send the notices yourselves.

Wolfco Bailiffs is responsible for recording and securing all personal effects found in or with the vehicle/security at the time of the seizure and will provide appropriate safe keeping of the same. We are also responsible for the storage of the vehicle. Once the vehicle is secured by our bailiff, Wolfco adds the unit to our inventory, at which time a condition report and an appraisal are then prepared and sent to you.
